Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception - Alexandra Trianti Hall

All participants are warmly invited to join us for the Opening Ceremony. It will be an entertaining and eventful introduction to the congress. During the ceremony, the ESC Medal will be awarded for the fifth time. After the Opening Ceremony, we invite our delegates to attend the Welcome Reception. Attendance at the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception are complimentary for registered participants. There is a charge for accompanying persons who may wish to attend.

Closing and Award Ceremony

The Closing and Award Ceremony will be held after the last session of the congress. During this Ceremony, presentations will be made to the winners of the 2012 ESC Poster Award, the Public Poster Award, the Best Free Communication Award as well as the winner of the Young Scientist Award. At the end of the Ceremony we will say goodbye to Athens and welcome the countries hosting the next congresses: Denmark and Portugal.
