ESC tulip "Aletta Jacobs" recorded in the international cultivar register.

During the closing session of the 11th ESC Congres at The Hague , The Netherlands (22 May 2010) the yellow Aletta Jacobs tulip was baptised by prof.dr.Saskia Wieringa, director of Aletta. The tulip is a tribute to Aletta Jacobs, an advocate for women's rights.
This beautiful tulip has now been registered on 19 december 2011 and recognised as new cultivar: "Aletta Jacobs tulip".
